My kr2 is a tail dragger. When I do this test, I do it tail down with only 1 gallon of fuel in the 12 gal header tank, my system is gravity fed.
I know that my fuel system will deliver 15 gal/hr using only the last gallon of fuel (worst case). I have also noted that after that one gallon has run out and the fuel system is dry, it then vapor locks (or something like that) because when I put another gallon into the dry system the fuel will not flow until after I open the fuel line at the carb and let the air out. It takes 15 to 30 seconds before the fuel appears at the carb end of the hose. Has any one else noticed this delay? GPAS 2180 w/revmaster turbo setup, revmaster carb under the engine. Gascolater low on engine side of firewall. This worries me because at times the fuel outlet in the bottom of the aluminum tank is sure to suck some air when the fuel is sloshing about when the supply is low.
