Well, I translated the string myself and thought mostly the same. The
string itself is maybe not the problem but the whole option seems to be
crap because it "can lead to buggy behaviour". Maybe you should file a
bug to remove this option completely.

I added localisation to two perl scripts which adds 26 new erros message
to translate. Please tell me if there are any problem in those files as
I never use gettext() inside perl before. (And be aware that perl might
use some other format stuff than C).

ld discuss this with Ubuntu in some offical way (e.g. through GNOME
Foundation). In general cooperation with Ubuntu seems to be quite good
and they are also pushing GNOME forward a lot and we should really

and I don't consider it major. You only have to wait one more week and
you will be freeze to do whatever you want in trunk (after
branching...).
