Mentioning the bug number should be sufficient.

Currently, we're in the string change announcement period. You're free to
make string changes, but need to notify gnome-i18n and gnome-doc-list.
String freeze begins on the 2nd.

Hello,
I've spoken with Ignacio Casal Quinteiro and we've agreed that I will
take over maintainership of gtranslator. This summer, a student is working
on a GSoC project to write an alternative to gtranslator, but while it's in
the early stages, I'm hoping to breathe new life into gtranslator
I've just made a commit that marks three strings in the menus for
translation that were previously unmarked. (_Undo, _Redo, _Contents)

I've just committed a patch[1] that trims whitespace from a few strings

I've committed a patch in gnome-panel that manually sets the title of
the about dialog, allowing it to be translated properly in some
languages where it could before.

Importing translations from Launchpad could potentially do great harm to
the work of upstream translators with no recourse save to constantly

Speaking for Irish, I'm not sure this is always possible, even in a
stilted fashion (as Thomas mentions). The best approximations to "Yes"
and "No"
I have received the requested account and am in the process of
familiarizing myself with GNOME subversion policies. Additionally, I
will soon be checking in a number of changes I've made recently in my
local copies. What remains to be done at this point?

It's kind of looking like to me like some effort needs to start
being put into coordination. From what I can tell, there are three
different tools underway. To me this seems like an unnecessary division
of effort, especially considering the lack of good tools out there now.
I think the first th

how many there are. Keep in mind that some languages may have a fairly
large number here: the Irish translation team is currently debating the
proper style of indicating plurals and may end up with six different form
Hello,
As the coordinator is inactive for this translation, I was hoping
that someone could apply the following patch for the time being. Thank you.
