Actual
I marked the string "Snap Columns to Power of Two" for translation in
gucharmap. Note that this string has been in the translation set for a
long time and accidentally dropped in Nov 2005. So, most languages
already have it and don't need any further action.

translations for invalid translation of glib-style context
strings. It's a simple heuristic, but does the job, and we can

I did checkout and install latest intltool, and reran autogen and
build and all in vte, but still I get all translations modified
after a distcheck.
I'm afraid I'm going to commit them this time too, but I'm
willing to fix this issue as soon as somebody here tells me how.

The 'kn.po' that you added to configure.in in vte was breaking
build badly, and so removed. Don't you ever msgfmt translations
before hooking them up?
