Hi Geir (and all),
my name is Jacopo Cappellato, I'm one of the developers of the OFBiz

Hi all,
do we really need to create an ip-clearance page for the OFBiz project?
After reading the informations here
http://incubator.apache.org/ip-clearance/index.html
I think that we don't need such a page for OFBiz since it is a new project.
Am I wrong?

I've noticed that the projects recently accepted into the Incubator (Ode

Hi all,
as one of the contributors of the OFBiz project (currently in Incubator,
http://incubator.apache.org/projects/ofbiz.html), some time ago I've
sent a signed iCLA to the ASF, the iCLA has been recorded and I was
listed in the committers page

Hi Robert,
I'm one of the OFBiz committers and I'd like to thank you for your great
scrutiny: this is very helpful and we are currently working to fix all the
issues that you (and others in this list) have found.

Robert,
the aRAT tool is indeed very helpful.
As a side note: would you consider to commit the attached patch?
I think it would make life easier to many since the String.contains(...)
method is deprecated in recent JDK versions.
Thanks,

Hi all,
based on past comments in this list I'd like to add that this is a
pre-built release (e.g. the objects and Derby demo database are already
set up and packaged in the distribution); we did this because it can

Hi all,
I've tried to refrain myself from asking this but I'm really very

Yoav,
thanks for your help.
One thing I've noticed is that the OFBiz project is still listed in the

Any hints?

Ok, I have updated the proposal to include the feedback received (there is a
