I would be seriously surprised. Windows refuses to *format* drives above 32GB
as FAT32, but simply
works with it up to maximum capacity of (2^32 * sectorsize) which is usually
2TB.

Which is pretty much nonsense. The 8088 has an external 8 bit data bus, the
8086 has 16 bit.
That's all the difference. Programs execute identical, except for performance.
