Hey JF,
We use the Swift object store as the storage backend for secondary
storage. I have not tried the S3 integration, but the last time I looked
at the code for this (admittedly, a long time ago) the Swift and s3 logic
was more intertwined than I liked. The CloudOps/cloud.ca team had to do a

Yes. This seems right to me.
The LTS release was introduced for exactly the purpose of giving
organizations with production deployments a predictable and stable path for
upgrades. There has to be a reasonably sized window for adoption of the new
LTS release before the previous one can be abandoned

It may have been Syed who added that API in order to add support for ssl
offload on the netscaler years ago. I remember he had to add the ability to
manage ssl certificates in ACS, so it is possible it was part of that. I
am guessing though.

Just because it does not work for VMware should not a reason to rip out the
functionality for other hypervisors where it is being used though.

replicated to secondary storage, so this feature is useful to us.

The HTML is built using a build script in the repo locally by the person
who suggests a change. The build script actually uses middleman to generate
the html. The generated HTML is tracked in the pull requests so merges
