I've experienced the same problem with openSUSE 12.1 and KDE or xfce.
I've found a clumsy workaround, that might also help here:
When the system should be suspended, the NetworkManager gets notified by
a dbus call. You can generate this call manually by
qdbus --system org.freedesktop.NetworkManag
Here's another (better) workaround:
1. Write a script or figure out the command to do what you want the action to
be.
2. Run ccsm.
3. Enable the "Commands" plugin
4. In the Commands settings, fill in the command line you want and bind it to
key Super+P.
Now Unity will run your specified command

Ah, in this configuration menu you could switch between LibreOffice and
writer shortcuts. Then you can see, that CTRL+H is allocated global for
LibreOffice with find&replace and local for writer for superscript (only
German).
Perhaps keys which are allocated globally by LibreOffice shouldn't be

I can confirm what #20 has said. I applied proxy again and killed
everything, ran empathy-auth-client, and restarted empathy, and I was
able to log into gtalk.

takes over it again as it's supposed to do
