despite your comments in debian/rules and debian/changelog, I am pretty
sure that running debconf2po-update in debian/rules is meaningless.
You might want to call it in order to update PO files, but
xserver-xfree86-dbg has nothing

strings were removed due to a stupid bug, which unfortunately affect
many strings in xfree86.

is against 055_lnx_evdev_keyboard.diff, this patch has never been
submitted upstream, so I believe that the chances to get other bugreports
are very low and IMHO this patch should be applied.

Unfortunately I was unable to test this fix due to lack of hardware,
and it was broken :(
