Set up a sarge box for a customer. Installed sendmail onto it.
Now usually I could send mails from the console with it without
configuring anything (except network of course *g*)

space for the archive, or not to keep more than Y versions of any

I exec "pon VOL" and get a connection, but no pings do return (100% loss).

The C and D you are referring to are Drive names given by windows OS to
HDDs. If you format C; then windows will be wiped out and while
installing Linux on it, you will be given an option to install
Boot-loader(like grub or lilo) by which at next boot u can select which
linux to boot from 1HDD's or

Can i change to experimental debian by just chaning my sources.list ?
I tried that, changed testing with experimental but i get errors then.

I have been experiencing inexplicable, apparently random crashes of
mozilla-firefox. At first I believed it to be a javascript issue, but
having turned javascript off, I still get the crashes.
I'm running unstable, fluxbox wm, nvidia driver.

Just for closing this thread. I finally got 3d acceleration and OpenGL
working well following the installation method from
http://xoomer.virgilio.it/flavio.stanchina/debian/fglrx-installer.html.
Celestia and Tuxracer are running smooth.

yesterday. I then proceeded to upgrade my kernel to 2.4.27. I used
apt-get to get the sources, copied the orig config from /boot, ran make
