I've been doing some research on Intel Dual Port NICs. From what I've found,
there may have been some past issues with the NICs that use the i82558
controller running on linux.

Antigen for Exchange found whatever.exe infected with Aliz.4096.Worm
(Norman,Sophos) virus.
The file is currently Removed. The message, "Fw: weird shit for you ! ", was
sent from [EMAIL PROTECTED] and was discovered in SMTP Messages\Inbound
located at Cox/CoxHub1/HATL0MS21.
