Hello. Now I'm trying to install hamm into IBM Thinkpad 380ED with using *1440tecra.bin, but resc1440tecra.bin freezes at "Loading linux.." Does anyone know the reason? P.S. When I tried to install bo into this machine with using bo's tecra install disks, then I saw color/mono select image. Why?

Linux the hard way

Bob, I downloaded minicom and lrzrz via floppy and used dselect to install them. I then logged in from hyperterminal and sent a file using zmodem protocol after issuing the rz command from the Linux box. SUCCESS!!! The highest baud rate my terminal will allow is 19200. As you cam imagine, this
