I'm a debian newbie (veteran redhat'er) and was wondering if there is a
place to get updated deb's for things that aren't up to date in slink. I
need to update some things such as libc5, modutils, and procps and the
versions in slink aren't new enough

Have you actually installed lesstif?
Try 'find /usr -name Xm.h'
which will tell you where this file is on your system
If both of these fail to resolve your problem, post the exact errors
from cc.

1] i stopped sendmail
2] i copied sendmail 8.8.8 on /usr/sbin
3] i reinstalled majordom by debian 1.3 cd (on that server debian 1.3 is

4] i changed majordom's group from daemon to majordom (uid 30 gid 31 on deb

dosemu out of the box doesn't allow lredir is because the version of
FreeDOS shipped with it doesn't support lredir. It is highly confusing as
