Hello Debian-Friends,
Christophe built some packages to get the Canon Digital IXUS v2 running.
You might want to install the packages (libusb, libgphoto2, gphoto2) from:
ftp://ufies.org/pub/people/christophe/gphoto2-beta/
They work for me.
To get all images off the camera, just do an

I see a bug in galeon-snapshot which is so obvious that I am wondering
if it is powerpc specific.
I can get the menu from a right click in the web page.
Can someone tell me if it works for him on a powerpc with the current
debian package:
~$ apt-cache policy galeon-snapshot

Thanks for this.
I suspect the problem is related to bug #168602, with the kernel needing
to be set to send linux keycodes (which procps.sh does on reboot, and
the X server probably does on resetting the display).
Can someone please confirm this by running,eg, this script:
#!/bin/sh

Ok... here's what I don't understand.
Apparently the disk is /dev/hda for the installer, but it's ultra2 for
OF.
I reinstalled everything, and then run this command:
mkofboot --boot /dev/hda9 -m /usr/lib/yaboot/ofboot --root \
/dev/hda11 --partition 11
It runs fine, and it creates the

Hello together,
i have problems getting debian installed on my brand new XServe. With
the netinst images from Ian Eure no booting was possible (Xserve
switched off after loading the kernel), so i tried the image from
lordsutch.com (http://www.phy.olemiss.edu/debian-cd/) and could boot

I tried swaping the drive to the ATA66 bus... but after doing so and being able
to install the base system, I get a white screen when I boot up.
I can't even get to the Open Firmware prompt... and not even pressing
option gives me a list of available drives to boot from...

as a modem and tty01 as IrDa. So it seems that I do have a functioning m
