I use the blade woody backport of XFree86 4.2.1 on a Compaq Presario
900 series laptop. The specs of the LCD I got from compaq is max resolution
of 1024x768 at 72 -or- 75, I normally run it with the vesa driver and set
the resolution at [EMAIL PROTECTED], but if an app like Bumprace,
Clanbomber.
Don't know if there is a HOWTO for BIOS updates because I did the update
before I started learning Linux. But IBM provides the updates
appropriate to each model on its website. I think you should be able to
download it and create an update-floppy using whatever OS you are now
using to get onlin

Wow. Sounds like we should boycott Les Edition Albert Rene products. I

the sound channel
at a time. Does anyone know if i can hve 2 apps making asound output at the
same time?? I

Yeah i tried to enable the arts soundserver.
But it still doesnt mix the sounds output from more than 1 app.
And not long after, it will show a "Fatal error: CPU Overload" error.
