I have an INTEL EEPRO 100 combocard and the Sony provided useless winmodem is
on ttyS4. For some reason the modem side of the Intel card believes it is on
ttyS24. I run woody on a SONY Vaio and use debian's pcmcia-cs, Yenta doesn't
work even though everything shows up in the logs. Take a look a

See above... Make sure your next modem is not a "Winmodem", and that

I reacently installed Debian's Base System to my Dell Latitude Xpi Computer.
I want to install the rest of the system using apt get the problem is I
don't know how to get my PCMCIA Megahertz US Robotics Modem to connect to
the internet. Any help will be MUCH appreciated. THANKS.
