I have got a umax laptop I think it is a 720 any way it is a p2 233 mgz and I need to find some drivers for it I would like to put on win 2000 . it has win98se on it now . and im having trouble getting it to see the nec card too. please help me   matt

I just finished Debian Sarge. Install went ok but I freeze up when I digit startx even if I choosed vesa driver. Same thing using the ati radeon mobility 9200 driver? I get the graphic display but it doesen't go ahead... Any hints? albatross

Hi all, I have the same problem too--i prefer acroread as opposed to gpdf but can't seem to find it in the current testing versions(i don't think i could find it in stable either). So i have had to do without acroread ever since i updated to gnome2.4. Does anyone know where i could get acroread?

Greetings: Batteries are something very near and dear to me since I am also an amateur radio operator. Today's laptops still have very poor charging circuits. If you really care about getting the absolute maximum use from your batteries, then I would suggest looking for an external battery ch
