We are using an APC Smart UPS 1000, there is a quite a lot of software
availible for debian and linux to interface, curently we have it setup to
SMS and small message 'Power Down Mackay' and then 'Power UP Mackay'.

Last time I encountered that error fsck wouldn't work and I had to use
debugfs and clear the Inode to fix it. I am not sure whether this bug in
fsck has been fixed yet.

NAT with a pool of public IPs (as opposed to masquerading with one IP). I'm

Anyone knows if you can use LDAP as a frontend for MySQL? The mysql_pam
module dont really gives one all needed to fully move to a mysql account
based system, but then ldap is bound to it's db hashed database. It would
be nice to use their combined power...

The big Problem in my opinion is the use of an LDAP server to auth Windoze
users.
My direction is now using PAM and varius ldap modules with openldap for most
of the Linux ware and pam_smb (or similar) for Windoze.
Also Exchange is an poor LDA
