When I upgrade from 40.1-1 to 43.0-2 on a debian testing system, xfce breaks.
I see no xfce items at all on the screen(i.e. top bar, application menu, bottom
bar, desktop icons)
I am accessing the machine through

attached the output from trying to build with fakeroot and the output
from building with root.

I am having the same problem. I run an up to date squeeze box. I
update every day. After the update earlier this week. Something broke
my sound. snd-intel8x0 started not loading at boot time. If I modprobe
it then it will load. At the same time, my usb mouse became dead when I
get into gnome

I have the same problem. Starting yesterday, my sound broke in the same
way. If I do modprobe snd-intel8x0, then sound comes back. At least
what wasn't broken from the pulseaudio upgrade last week. I have an IBM

There was an upgrade for flashplugin-nonfree in the last few days that broke

One problem with the migration instructions in README.migration.gz is
that moin is not in the path for user www-data. I can find moin
in /usr/share/moin/server/moin and use the full path but I get the
following error when I run it.
/etc/moin# /usr/share/moin/server/moin --config-dir /etc/moin --w
When I try to migrate I get an error:
sh-3.1$ which moin.py
/usr/share/python-support/python-moinmoin/MoinMoin/script//moin.py
sh-3.1$ moin.py --config-dir=/etc/moin

Thanks to all of those that posted to this bug report, I was finally
able to make the wiki work again.
Here are the steps that were required. Note my wiki is called
profitwiki.
su www-data
export PATH=/usr/share/python-support/python-moinmoin/MoinMoin/script:
$PATH

I left out 1 step. Before running moin.py I had to create the meta file
as Glennie mentioned above.
as www-data user create the file /var/lib/profitwiki/data/meta
with the following line in it:
