Package: gtkpod Version: 2.1.2-1 Severity: normal I have a 1st generation ipod shuffle(x9725). gtkpod gives the following error when trying to load the ipod:
** (gtkpod:13918): WARNING **: Error parsing recent playcounts The ipod fails to load. I have found that if I rename or move the file iPod_Control/iTunes/iTunesStats gtkpod will load the ipod. However, eventually, the file will come back and start giving the error again. I'm not sure if it is gtkpod that creates that file or just using the ipod creates the file. However it is created, gtkpod doesn't like it. I would guess the problem is something unique to the version of the shuffle I have. The iTunesStats file is some binary blob of course so I can't look at it to see what is in it. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.21.120712 (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages gtkpod depends on: ii gtkpod-data 2.1.2-1 ii libanjuta-3-0 2:3.4.3-1 ii libatk1.0-0 2.4.0-2 ii libatomicparsley0 2.1.2-1 ii libc6 2.13-35 ii libcairo-gobject2 1.12.2-2 ii libcairo2 1.12.2-2 ii libcurl3-gnutls 7.26.0-1 ii libflac8 1.2.1-6 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.26.1-1 ii libgdl-3-2 3.4.2-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.33.12+really2.32.4-2 ii libgpod4 0.8.2-7 ii libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-0 0.10.36-1 ii libgstreamer0.10-0 0.10.36-1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.4.2-4 ii libgtkpod1 2.1.2-1 ii libid3tag0 0.15.1b-10 ii libimobiledevice2 1.1.1-4 ii libjavascriptcoregtk-3.0-0 1.8.1-3.3 ii libogg0 1.3.0-4 ii libpango1.0-0 1.30.0-1 ii libsoup2.4-1 2.38.1-2 ii libvorbis0a 1.3.2-1.3 ii libvorbisfile3 1.3.2-1.3 ii libwebkitgtk-3.0-0 1.8.1-3.3 ii libxml2 2.8.0+dfsg1-6 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.7.dfsg-13 Versions of packages gtkpod recommends: pn id3v2 | python-mutagen <none> ii vorbis-tools 1.4.0-1 Versions of packages gtkpod suggests: ii faad 2.7-8 ii mp3gain 1.5.2-r2-2 ii perl 5.14.2-14 ii python 2.7.3~rc2-1 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
