hi, the m68k cd images for testing are not getting updated.
at http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/weekly-builds/
you can see that the latest for 68k is March19th and
the others are April30th.

There was an old version of one of my IRQ patches that would hang the
NuBus when a slot driver (e.g. SONIC) was closed. Since the IDE interrupt
is also on a NuBus slot, this would

my point is that IMHO there would be
far less chance of debian-68k discontinuing if
lenny were moved to debian-netbsd-68k instead
of debian-linux-68k. that would be just for the new
unstable/testing.
i don't see your logic at all either, maybe we are
just not communicating. the port is in danger
to answer the original question, maybe:
on the netbsd cd/mirror there is a mac directory and a
shared directory. i think the shared means other kinds
of 68k. there is more in the mac directory on netbsd than
you find in debian-linux-68k. some basic utility/toolchain stuff.
But my impression is t

hi, I was reading up on netbsd and saw claim that porting
is simplified under their kernel because of some abstraction
to the hardware, that only in the kernel and a few toolchain
items would actually porting usually be much of an issue there.
anyone care to consider this ? since as debian-netbsd

where did you get your installation media and what version is it
Debian3.1 Sarge or Debian4.0Etch ?
If you are having trouble just to get started i would suggest
sarge, you can always upgrade later. Etch is still pre-release/testing.

thanks for the link to the kernel deb !
my quadra 630 finally works now at the console.
but i had to reload/reinstall the keyboard maps:
"loadkeys us" to test/reload and "install keymap"
to install it. this because all the keys were wrong
