Hi,
my Pentax/Sigma combination incompletely recognizes the exact and
correct lens type.
I use a little exiftool script to add the right lens info into the raw
PEF or DNG file. This has worked beautifully, until recently.
Now, the LensModel parameter from the raw file is no longer recognized

now that we're approaching feature freeze for 2.0. do we want that
patch in 2.0 or not? i really liked the idea, but didn't check the
code yet. waiting for other things to come up in the future sounds
like a long way to go..

it's been a while since we had a big release. Initial plans were for the
upcoming one – 2.0 – to be out about now, but given how big the changes in the
