Hello good people of the Internet, it's been a while since we had a big release. Initial plans were for the upcoming one – 2.0 – to be out about now, but given how big the changes in the core were with the move to GTK3 and all the other goodies we are now trying to get a December release as with 1.6. In order to push things forward we will go to feature freeze next Monday, October 12th. If anyone has good reasons to postpone that tell us NOW. As always we won't be 100% strict so small things that could be interpreted as fixing the bug of "not having some feature" could be allowed in even after the freeze, but everything with potential for new bugs will have to wait.
