Hi,
my Pentax/Sigma combination incompletely recognizes the exact and
correct lens type.
I use a little exiftool script to add the right lens info into the raw
PEF or DNG file. This has worked beautifully, until recently.
Now, the LensModel parameter from the raw file is no longer recognized
by Darktable (version 1.6.8-2 Debian).
I came across this feature: http://redmine.darktable.org/issues/10525
and I suspect it is related. The LensModel parameter is read correctly
from the XMP metafile.
Is there a possibility that, by introducing this feature, the lens
recognition from the raw file got broken?
