For example, I'm using it for the Web to adjust a bit the exposure.
That is moving down a bit the exposure as my calibrated display (a bit
darker) will create a bit too much exposed pictures.

So I'm "appending" an exposure module with something like -0.2 IL.

The same (in the opposite direction) for the print module where I want
to add some exposure to avoid too dark print. Again I'm using the
append mode.

Now, if you want to replace a watermark and or border when exporting to
the web you'll use the "replace" mode to ensure that any watermarks or
border in the history stack will be replaced.
