Cygwin homedirs and roaming profiles.

#x27;t have my users' homedirs on the Samba server also be the Cygwin homedir for that user - if I want ssh to work. Ssh complains about ownership of the ~/.ssh file. Is there a way to fix this short of patching ssh? Just looking for input or pointers - I'll do the work myself. :) -

I attempted to create a new account on my machine. I added the user in XP. Then I did mkpasswd -l > /etc/passwd. I started and stopped sshd using net. Also, I may have inadvertantly used passwd on both the old and new account to change the passwd. I have since mkpasswd -l'ed and passwd'ed each a

Well, after going over hoards of MSDN documents and adjusting my code, I realized what most developers' first guess might have been... I followed the null pointer. Madness overtook me. I corrected this (char *)problem and my util actually passed all my tests, no matter which directory it was in.

ion, the PATH variable doesn't get /cygdrive/c/Temp added to it twice, and I get the variables and aliases from both .profile and .bashrc. Notice the new EXPLORERDIR variable. The many quotes are needed for directory names with spaces! I had to add these lines at the very bottom of the

Win32::API perl module
