The easiest thing would be to find out the nature of the signal is out of
the computers / transducers. If it's NMEA 0183 compatible then you just
get a NMEA 0183 to NMEA 2000 converter (A Google search will easily get
that) If not find out if there is a way to get the signal converted

Between the two I'd go with the 2.9 based on the combination of flow / PSI
/ Amps. The 2.9 needs a 10 amps circuit / breaker while the 3.5 needs a
15 amp circuit.

good shape, I had it re-stitched and windows replaced a couple years ago.
It does not go very far back but does provide shade if you sit close to
the bulkhead or even better, lean back on the bulkhead lounge ch

If you're looking for the simplest / lightest / most snagfree (And coolest
in my book) way to attach your jib sheets to your jib forget about the
soft shackle / 2 lines jib sheet with big bowline knots or splices to
snag the spinnaker pole car / track / etc on its way across on a tack.

I guess it depends on the kind of lines you're using on the sheets, their
diameter, and perhaps how fresh they are.. I started doing the luggage
tag when I bought new sheets last year. They are nothing exotic, 1/2" New
England Ropes Sta Set. So far it's really easy to undo no matter how much

effectiveness / durability in these here parts.. I'm not in salt water
(But I am in a warm climate that is very conducive to slime) so far (1
year) it lives up to the hype and the bottom is completely slime / growth
free / smooth
Since the wind is turning to rubbing it in.. My sailing club is having the
annual chili cook-off on Sat, we're spending the nite @ the boat then we be
racin' on Sunday, partly sunny, temps in the mid 60's, winds in the
teens :-)

I'm looking for a used 12-22 ft (Absolute minimal length 18.9 FT) whisker
pole. It seems that in light winds jibing / reaching is not paying off for
me..
I was a contender for any of the top 3 spots all the way to the weather
mark yesterday.. We had to settle for 4th behind 3 other guys runnin

Thanks to all you guys for pole the wisdom ,
Through local connections I was able to get the Forespar 12-22 # 402200
pole for just over a couple hundred bucks more than the Selden so I went
for the Forespar..
Main reasons were:
- At a max of 22 feet it's almost perfectly 150% of my J (L
Ours came with the Lewmar D1 or D2's. They work well.
I don't have any particular procedure and there's a very slight difference
in lever pressure opening / closing them at full load or no load at all and
it's very easy regardless. Assuming the correct size line for the job (I
replaced a few)
