Well we are an hour south of Boston...so instead of another 24" on top of a
couple of feet...we only had about 6".
Phew...it pays to be south this time of year.
(FYI. I cant even get to the boat. Its like climbing a mountain going over
the plow's snow banks in the boat

Once you get the length figured out, get rid of the core for that portion that
will be on the drum. The cover can handle the load and it lies nice and flat
in the drum. No more tangles...

Not stupid when you size the line accordingly. What is stupid is getting a
line wrap when trying to furl/unfurl because the line will not lay right on the
spool with all that bulk .

In Bermuda we replaced the cable with one a size larger than Edson recommends
just in case...
It is stored in the cockpit locker.
