The C&C motif on sail covers is my favourite. I would take it to modify,
but it's probably better off with someone who needs one that big in the
first place. I do need a new cover though.

Tom,
Looks a little different than mine, but mine is getting a little ratty, so, if
nobody has grabbed it yet, I would be interested.
If still available, I can send you a pre-paid UPS shipping label by email.

Which furling system dud you go with and how do you like it? We’re considering
adding this to the 121. We had a leisure furl system on a previous boat which
we liked very much (bud didn’t care for the manufacturer).

Hi All,
Seems the boat is never "done".I read a recent thread here on older
iceboxes and the benefit of improved insulation, and wonder about my '85.
As other work gets done, the ice box has moved up the project list a bit.
I replaced the gasket and the manual drain pump, and will need to tigh

Presumably you are on shore-power when running this unit?
Don't know about Georgia, but in the north east, provided there is a little
breeze, the wind scoop combined with a few strategically placed 12v fans keeps
my wife cool enough to tolerate overnights on a mooring / anchor.

In parts of the far southern U.S., it's so hot that many people don't consider
summer part of the sailing season.
In fact, the cruising club I belong to in St Petersburg, Fl., suspends all
sailing activities from June through early September because it is just too hot.

Do you have any way to take the parts to a machinist? I'm fascinated by
the things a good machinist can do and the problems they can solve.

Agreed.
I used to be a machinist, decades ago now, but I still have a milling machine,
a couple of metal lathes, and various other metal working tools.
I also worked as a welder, and have torches and a mig welder, but I only worked
with carbon steels.
