Fred,

We missed you! Edd had some trouble with his autopilot install and tried
to ping your advise...but no echo. See the quoted text below.

Hope you had fun getting away for a while!

Listers,

"Finished" the install of my Raymarine EV200 in the Enterprise, all
connected to my old Octopus 1012 pump and linear drive.

The system powers on and I ran through the setup twice -- but no joy, the
rudder doesn't move.

The pump has four wires. Two, orange and black, are coming out of the black
part of the pump. I connected those to the "motor" connectors on the ACU.
The other two, both red, are coming out of the "front" end, which I
connected to the "clutch" connectors on the ACU.

The pump is at least 11 years old, possibly double that or even more.

Any idea if I have the wiring backwards? How does one test a hydraulic
pump? Any suggestions on troubleshooting?

All advice greatly appreciated.

All the best,

Edd
