I used to use Brightsides and redid the boots stripe yearly . Changed 3 years ago when I painted the boat and did the boots stripe in 2 part Interlux Perfection . I haven't had to redo the stripe since .I would strongly suggest switching to a 2 part paint ,in the end the added work to apply is mo

I like this look. It is probably painted alwgrip. I believe it can be achieved by painting the bottom stripe which is tapered. Then add 2" wide tape 1" above and 1 1/2" tape 1" above that. The tapes end before the transom, so don't wrap under. I'd love to do my boat that way. Chuck Resolute
