I used to use Brightsides and redid the boots stripe yearly . Changed 3 years ago when I painted the boat and did the boots stripe in 2 part Interlux Perfection . I haven't had to redo the stripe since .I would strongly suggest switching to a 2 part paint ,in the end the added work to apply is more than offset by its durability
