I took the entire cover off by removing the three bolts. Are you saying their
is more to breakdownthe solar panel is removable from the rest of this
subassembly? I didn't want to go too far since it is going back...I have an
incredible knack for breaking things!

I JUST bought a new Marinco 4" day/night solar vent and it doesn't work?? I
took it apart and found the motor and battery completely sealed...unable to
service, troubleshoot, etc. Hope the retailer makes it easy to swap:)

I bought mirage from Mass Maritime. It was a three year lease purchase. I
closed on the boat about a year ago. I have all the USCG documentation
certificates back to around 1990. I think the paperwork should all be in order.
I'm going to buy beer for you guys with the $390 I saved!

I just bought the less expensive Jabsco electric pump and pail. A little slow,
but got the job done just fine. About $134 online.

I had lunch today with my boss Tom Rich who was crew on Liberty in 1983. He
likens the 83 regatta to what we are watching now, a monumental comeback.
Liberty was up 3-1 and eventually lost to Australia 4-3. Tom said Liberty went
