A thought on Josh's 3HM35F engine issues
My "new to me" boat had been on the hard for years (4+, at least), and
required a emptying and cleaning of the fuel tank, new filters, and a rebuild
of the injection pump just to get my YANMAR 4JH-TE started. It seemed to run
fine, and we ran it

I found a great budget system, DIGINAV, that has all U.S. charts and a

Total package was well under $100 with the GPS module. The only downside
is that it stays at the nav station, not at the helm.

Kevin,
I converted the original single-tube and double-tube fluorescent fixtures

protect the LEDs from overvoltage. I have photos of the converted fixtures but

Kevin,
I used the fluorescent fixtures as the "base" for my conversion to LEDs.
Cleaned and painted, they made a great foundation for self-adhesive
double-wide LED strips.
More light and much less current draw, plus eliminated the problem (and
cost) of finding the special fluorescent tub
This probably sounds strange, but I would try to lay out and "assemble"
the pieces to see if you've found them all. You may indeed be lucky, and find
them all in the impeller housing.

Careful about that assumption. According to the Yanmar rep. that I spoke to
at the Annapolis Sailboat Show, that switch only tests the light and
buzzer by supplying power to them. It DOES NOT check the entire circuit to the
sensor/switch.

The easiest way to check an oil pressure switch is to disconnect the wire
from the pressure switch, turn on the key switch to the "RUN" (not START)
position, and then ground the wire. The buzzer should buzz. If not, then the
problem is somewhere in the wiring harness.

Would anyone have any idea where I might find the plastic "kits" that were

All of the drawers have a wood face with the finger hole. From the wood
face back they appear to be some type of white snap-together plastic assembly.
