Kevin,

I used the fluorescent fixtures as the "base" for my conversion to LEDs.
Cleaned and painted, they made a great foundation for self-adhesive
double-wide LED strips.

More light and much less current draw, plus eliminated the problem (and
cost) of finding the special fluorescent tubes and exciters.

Let me know if you want more information/pictures.

Hi everybody. I am looking to buy replacements for a few fixtures on our
1989 30mkII. (1.) Our "under counter" florescent fixture on the head. Single
bulb mounted over the sink. (2.) Our overhead florescent fixtures in the
cabin. These are two bulb fixture s mounted underneath the translucent
plastic panel on the cabin top.
Would be willing to replace with same fixtures if someone here has some
for sale. Or... Open to suggestions for good valued LED substitutions.
Thanks!
