Rich, You are correct. Reverse polarity will apply a massive forward current through the diode bridge in the rectifier assembly. Usually the diodes melt forming a short circuit. That can actually be a good thing because it may protect other electronics by limiting the reverse voltage. Hope y

I'm not there, so I can't see it, but most plastic dinghies are made from rotomolded polyethylene or polypropylene. Walker Bay boats are made from UV-stable polypropylene. ABS is a very unlikely material. You can test it to see by dripping pure methylene chloride on the dinghy. If it is one of the

Topsides sprayed Friday (yesterday). We used two base coats of Pearl Gray and three top coats of a custom color.  That is why the boat may look like a different color in different pictures...the Pearl Gray is a little lighter.Carinthia Blue bootstripe going on today...gotta go!http://www.flickr.com
