I admit that I'm quite focused on "Postfix + Amavisd-new + ClamAV"
solution (I don't know details of milter and so on) so maybe I'm missing
something... But what do you mean by "I use clamd without amavis"?...
No amavis, no milter, only alone clamd? Maybe you use clamav-milter, but

The people who are having problems with clamd/clamdscan, can you try accessing
the file that you were using to test in the following ways:
C:/path/to/file
C:\\path\\to\\file
and see if it properly scans this time?
Same problem.

Hi,
I would like to have information obout the severity/frequence of viruses

It should be nice to know when a virus added is very dangerous and that
an update is required urgently. At least add the information provided
during submission about frequency of the virus.

It's effect all scans.
The option "ArchiveDetectEncrypted" reject (ie detect as &

It should be very nice to change the name when an other name is used by
all av.
It's quite unconfortable to deal with that. It's big problem, but it
should be much more easy to have in notification the name commonly used.

Hi,
I'm trying to use clamav for 2 days.
I've put it on my mx mail serveur, this serveur send mail to a Trend

IMSS has detected a virus (PE_DUMARU.A) that clamav hasn't see.
The raison it's perhaps that I'm using clamav in a particular way.
When P
n. When I scan them directly with clamscan they
aren't detected (I'm using clamav0.6).

Is there going to be a new snapshot version that will compile on Solaris
with gcc?
I get exactly the same pb with gcc on debian/linux i386.
I've resolve it by replacing the "virnum=0" by a "int virnum=0". It
compiles but I don't know if I produce a bug by adding that.

I've found the problem.
It was because of a old Unix socket that wasn't removed.
With a FixStaleSocket in configuration file it works well.
