thanks for the effortI have a RH5.1 box (with a number of upgrades).
The code compiled smoothly to the point of compiling the milter. I still
end up with the same problem as I had before. Not sure if this is something
"special" about my box, or if this is an issue. Here is what I am

I just installed clamav 0.60 on our Redhat 7.3 Linux system. Now, clamd
is running and freshclam is working. What else should I do further?
Basically, I have the following questions:
1. To let clamav scan the incoming and outgoing mails, should I install

I have strange permission problem, and I think that error is in
clamdscan/clamd
I am running clamd under clamav user
clamav:x:398:398:Clam Antivirus:/var/clamav:/bin/false
I have added clamav to qmail group and clamd was restarted
[EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# ps -ef | grep clamd
clamav 313
