Hi,

I just installed clamav 0.60 on our Redhat 7.3 Linux system. Now, clamd
is running and freshclam is working. What else should I do further?
Basically, I have the following questions:

1. To let clamav scan the incoming and outgoing mails, should I install
clamav-milter and/or MailScanner? If only one should be used, which one
is better?

if I want to scan mails (incoming and outgoing), should I uncomment the line
#ScanMail
in clamav.conf nomatter what (clamav-milter and/or MailScanner) is used?

2. If clamav finds a mail or file infected by a virus, what will it do?
where will clamav put that file/mail? Can clamav repair/fix it or just
"deny the mail" or "quarantine the file"?

3. the /etc/clamav.conf has many options. According to the instruction,
I removed one line Example. So, I have just the following lines by default:

LocalSocket /tmp/clamd
MaxDirectoryRecursion 15
ScanArchive
ArchiveMaxFileSize 10M
ArchiveMaxRecursion 5
ArchiveMaxFiles 1000
ClamukoScanOnOpen
ClamukoScanOnClose
ClamukoScanOnExec
ClamukoIncludePath /home
ClamukoMaxFileSize 1M
ClamukoScanArchive

Do I need to change or enable any above or other options?
Is Clamuko installed with clamav by default? How to check it? If not,
where to get it?

Thanks for all help and forgive me for these basic questions.

Hongwei
