tape drive itself not autochanger device so to move; load; unload tapes u have to use for example sg0 (if it works) like for example mtx -f /dev/sg0 load 3 /dev/nst0 0 should load tape from slot 3 to tape drive of course u can load tape from bconsole as well permissions are one thing
