I use ssmtp before the switch, I setup ssmtp to point to the new

Ah, i did not know that MTX would deal with controlling a human autochanger,
i’ll have a look at how it works again. The bacula-changer script just seems to
change how bacula handles a single tape device with no auto

I am a recent adopter of bacula, and am still in the throws of getting it to do
things as i think i would like. My main full backup takes three tapes and the
issue i would like help with is managing messages that tell me “Please mount
append Volume “xx
I had the same kind of issue with ubuntu 14.x lts - in the end i downloaded the
latest source from bacula.org and following their concise instructions had the
latest version up in no time.
I was worried about using random repositories, so building from the main source
download felt a lot better

tape(Tandberg) 200/400 with a bigger one, but I have some doubts if
some else is running tandberg LTO-4 800/1.6GB scsi external without
issues?

Should I do a "formal" test - ie force the error and if it does occur
again report the bug?
It would not be hard to set up - just load the autochanger with cartridges
that cannot be appended, recycled etc.

I have a similar situation and solved it byusing this stargegy.
Firstly the disk volumes should be treated as "Tape" drives in that only
onle volume can be opened at a time but you can have many concurrent jobs
writing to that volume - my setting is for a maximum of 5 concurrent jobs/
waited about 40 minutes.

I have searched the lists etc and not found an option to skip files based
on their age.
The idea is to have an option like WildFile and WildDir called WildDays
that will skip the backup of files that are more than WildDays old. I
would use a value of say 365 days that is over a year old.

Is there a Timeout option so that the server does not wait 30 minutes when
a workstation is off line or not powered on. This is a frequent situation
I encounter when trying to backup laptops during the day.
