Dear All I am running Bacula 2.0.3 on a linux 2.6.21.1 server and backing up XP clients.
There is a problem when the client is disconnected in the middle of a backup - powered off or cable disconnected. The storage daemon sits and waits for the client. Using bconsole you cannot cancel the job as it cannot connect to the File Daemon on the client. The only quick fix I know of is a bacula restart - Is there a kill type option? I have manually killed the bacula-sd daemons and restarted them as a temp fix. The ideal situation would be that the stroage daemon has a timeout so it cancels the job after NN minutes Regards Stephen Carr ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
