Dear All After having problems restoring a single Cyrus IMAP mailbox wwang I decided to add the other mailboxes refered to as errors. The restore went OK.
Since this went OK I repeated the original restore that is marking only wwang. There number of errors changed from the original attempt but it still failed with 3 files missing. See below Regards Stephen Carr ------------------------- Successful restore cwd is: / $ cd /common/cyrus/user cwd is: /common/cyrus/user/ $ mark wwang 77 files marked. $ mark aarsyad 294 files marked. $ mark ywei 79 files marked. $ mark ykim 375 files marked. $ mark dbroad 888 files marked. $ mark mgibbs 347 files marked. $ done The following mailboxes were restored in bacula-restores - note some where added that I did not mark. drwx------ 13 100 mail 4096 Aug 11 11:05 ./ drwxr-x--- 3 100 mail 4096 Aug 20 2005 ../ drwx------ 5 100 users 4096 Oct 18 20:19 aarsyad/ drwx------ 3 100 users 4096 Oct 30 08:39 bfoley/ drwx------ 2 100 users 4096 Oct 30 08:39 blucas/ drwx------ 8 100 mail 4096 Oct 18 20:31 dbroad/ drwx------ 2 100 users 4096 Oct 30 08:40 gpotger/ drwx------ 7 100 mail 4096 Oct 18 20:37 mgibbs/ drwx------ 2 100 users 4096 Oct 30 08:40 msalt/ drwx------ 3 100 users 4096 Oct 30 08:37 sgcarr/ drwx------ 5 100 users 4096 Oct 18 14:37 wwang/ drwx------ 8 100 mail 4096 Oct 18 20:35 ykim/ drwx------ 5 100 users 4096 Oct 18 14:37 ywei/ Bacula email regarding the restore 30-Oct 08:32 elizabeth-sd: 3301 Issuing autochanger "loaded drive 0" command. 30-Oct 08:32 elizabeth-sd: 3302 Autochanger "loaded drive 0", result: nothing loaded. 30-Oct 08:32 elizabeth-sd: 3304 Issuing autochanger "load slot 4, drive 0" command. 30-Oct 08:33 elizabeth-sd: 3305 Autochanger "load slot 4, drive 0", status is OK. 30-Oct 08:33 elizabeth-sd: 3301 Issuing autochanger "loaded drive 0" command. 30-Oct 08:33 elizabeth-sd: 3302 Autochanger "loaded drive 0", result is Slot 4. 30-Oct 08:33 elizabeth-sd: Ready to read from volume "Full-D4" on device "DDS" (/dev/nst0). 30-Oct 08:33 elizabeth-sd: Forward spacing to file:block 11:0. 30-Oct 08:38 elizabeth-sd: End of file 12 on device "DDS" (/dev/nst0), Volume "Full-D4" 30-Oct 08:42 elizabeth-sd: Reposition from (file:block) 12:13137 to 15:0 30-Oct 08:46 elizabeth-sd: Reposition from (file:block) 15:14852 to 16:0 30-Oct 08:50 elizabeth-dir: Bacula 1.38.11 (28Jun06): 30-Oct-2006 08:50:19 JobId: 3128 Job: RestoreFiles.2006-10-30_08.24.58 Client: elizabeth Start time: 30-Oct-2006 08:25:00 End time: 30-Oct-2006 08:50:19 Files Expected: 2,076 Files Restored: 2,079 Bytes Restored: 171,699,307 Rate: 113.0 KB/s FD Errors: 0 FD termination status: OK SD termination status: OK Termination: Restore OK ---------------------------- Failed Restore repeated marking only wwang mailbox The following mailboxes were restored in bacula-restores drwx------ 2 100 users 4096 Oct 30 09:03 aarsyad/ drwx------ 3 100 users 4096 Oct 30 08:59 dbroad/ drwx------ 2 100 users 4096 Oct 30 08:59 mgibbs/ drwx------ 5 100 users 4096 Oct 18 14:37 wwang/ drwx------ 3 100 users 4096 Oct 30 09:02 ykim/ drwx------ 3 100 users 4096 Oct 30 09:04 ywei/ Note the mailbox sgcarr was not created. and 3 files were not restored. 30-Oct 08:54 elizabeth-dir: Start Restore Job RestoreFiles.2006-10-30_08.54.49 30-Oct 08:55 elizabeth-sd: Ready to read from volume "Full-D4" on device "DDS" (/dev/nst0). 30-Oct 08:55 elizabeth-sd: Forward spacing to file:block 11:0. 30-Oct 08:59 elizabeth-sd: Reposition from (file:block) 11:11782 to 12:0 30-Oct 08:59 elizabeth-fd: RestoreFiles.2006-10-30_08.54.49 Error: create_file.c:308 Could not hard link /common/bacula/bacula-restores/common/cyrus/user/mgibbs/26334. -> /common/bacula/bacula-restores/common/cyrus/user/sgcarr/82173.: ERR=No such file or directory 30-Oct 09:03 elizabeth-sd: Reposition from (file:block) 12:13069 to 15:0 30-Oct 09:06 elizabeth-fd: RestoreFiles.2006-10-30_08.54.49 Error: create_file.c:308 Could not hard link /common/bacula/bacula-restores/common/cyrus/user/wwang/65. -> /common/bacula/bacula-restores/common/cyrus/user/ywei/137.: ERR=No such file or directory 30-Oct 09:06 elizabeth-fd: RestoreFiles.2006-10-30_08.54.49 Error: create_file.c:308 Could not hard link /common/bacula/bacula-restores/common/cyrus/user/wwang/69. -> /common/bacula/bacula-restores/common/cyrus/user/mgibbs/26333.: ERR=No such file or directory 30-Oct 09:08 elizabeth-sd: Reposition from (file:block) 15:14852 to 16:0 30-Oct 09:11 elizabeth-dir: RestoreFiles.2006-10-30_08.54.49 Error: Bacula 1.38.11 (28Jun06): 30-Oct-2006 09:11:39 JobId: 3129 Job: RestoreFiles.2006-10-30_08.54.49 Client: elizabeth Start time: 30-Oct-2006 08:54:51 End time: 30-Oct-2006 09:11:39 Files Expected: 96 Files Restored: 96 Bytes Restored: 1,209,205 Rate: 1.2 KB/s FD Errors: 3 FD termination status: Error SD termination status: OK Termination: *** Restore Error *** James Ray wrote: > Kern Sibbald wrote: >> Hello, >> >> It seems to me that this problem is similar or identical to one recently >> reported, and if I am not mistaken, it invoved Cyrus IMAP files. >> Unfortunately, we never got to the bottom of the problem.
