To keep that drive saturated with incoming data, the data probably needs
to be coming from an SSD device (NVMe preferred), already spooled into

Well this is embarrassing, the system used to run BackupPC and apache was set
to run as user backuppc. Once I changed it back to www-data, bacula-web is now
working.

Unfortunately, there does not seem to be a solution.
vice for unique identifiers (the model/serial
number for the changer, the fibre WWN for each tape device), and then sets
symbolic links using our naming convention.

To get started executing something like " mtx -f /dev/sg1 status" will give you
an overview of your drives and available slots.
In this example my tape library is connected via /dev/sg1 but yours might be
something different. ie /dev/sg2, /dev/sg3 etc.
Then you can start moving tapes around

When we moved to an LTO4 library, our solution to that issue was to update
the volume status on all the LTO-2 media to "Read-Only" (in the bacula
database, but this could have been done with the physical read-only tab
on each tap
library can read LTO-2 tapes, and can write to LTO-3 (as per the
LTO standard). Our bacula-sd.conf definition for "Media Type" still has
"LTO-2", and that's written to all the tapes, includin
somehow.
Make a backup of the Bacula database as soon as the backup is complete. Save
that to both a backup tape and to some other media (external hard drive?
multiple Blueray discs? punch cards?) so that you can recover data if there's
ever a problem with the database--you do NOT want t
