We have been using vchanger 0.8.6 for a while now. When preparing for a new USB we have to initialize the magazine. Anyone have a solution?
When doing so we get the following errors: [root@backup ~]# vchanger -u bacula -g bacula /etc/bacula/example.conf initmag 1 magaine not a valid keyword at line 29 Trying any other magazine command also presents the same error. [root@backup ~]# vchanger -u bacula -g bacula /etc/bacula/example.conf listmags magaine not a valid keyword at line 29 [root@backup changer1]# vchanger -u bacula -g bacula /etc/bacula/example.conf list magaine not a valid keyword at line 29 changer.log indicates that a magazine is initialized but the UUID is incorrect from the new drives UUID Wed Jun 5 10:06:03 2013 magazine in bay 1 (/mnt/vchanger/b0c558d0-c51b-434d-bae9-b1b2c9032ac5) already initialized as magazine 19 a7acac4e-b8cc-4908-86e9-7346cf39cc3b is the correct ID for the drive I am trying to mount. According to http://wiki.bacula.org/doku.php?id=removable_disk I can enable debug and logging, I cannot find this instance mentioned in the article under section 11. # # log whats done # # to turn on logging, uncomment the following line #touch $wd/vchanger.log # # # Write to a log file # To log debugging info, create file /var/bacula/vchanger.log # with write permission for bacula-sd user. To stop logging, # delete file /var/bacula/vchanger.log # dbgfile="/var/bacula/vchanger.log" function debug() This mail was sent via Mail-SeCure System. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Windows: Build for Windows Store. http://p.sf.net/sfu/windows-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Bacula-users mailing list Bacula-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bacula-users
