No I use it normally here even with:
0-0/0: Analog Devices AD1881
Capabilities : -headphone out-
DAC resolution : 16-bit
ADC resolution : 16-bit
3D enhancement : Analog Devices Phat Stereo
Current setup
Mic gain : +0
Hi all,
I try to play with my microphone attached to my intel810 soundsystem. But
even with 100% mic volume and +20db gain it is too silent. Is this a known
problem of the I810 Chipset ???
Too silent means, I have to blow directly into the mic to hear anything
... normal speak, even cry load
Still no success in getting the Intel8x0 working on
the Sony Vaio PCG-GRX550.

Hello,
I'm trying to get jmax running on a Dell Inspiron 8200 (P4)
which has a Cyrus logic CS 4205 chip on it.
jmax only runs with alsa 0.9.0beta3
The card-intel8x0.c code for 0.9.0beta3 only defines MODULE_DEVICES

Hello all,
I'm running SuSE 7.3 with kernel 2.4.10 and Alsa0.5.10b and my sound

I'm currently running kernel 2.4.17. And I have an intel 810 based
sound card installed and can not get the alsa drivers running.
By running modprobe I get the following:
[root@localhos
I've installed the alsa drivers using
./configure --with-kernel=/usr/src/linux --with-moddir=/lib/modules/2.4.17/misc/
I've tried many other ways and still I get this same error?
Any suggestions?

Hi,
I've just started using the alsa stuff but have a problem with my intel8x0
onboard sound, the sound plays too fast.
I have tried setting the option snd_ac97_clock=41194 but this makes it way
too slow, I have now got is set at 47194 BUT this is just a guess.
Is there anyway I can find out wh

Hi!
I have RedHat 7.1 with kernel 2.4.14 and devfs. I compiled and installed ALSA
driver for Intel i810 on board card. After loading the driver with modprobe
devfs does not create an entry in /dev/dsp /dev/sound etc.
I read the INSTALL document but I find it lacking the details for to run it

Everything works fine but I get the "i815 too f
