around google, I have yet to find a DAQ that can convert both DA and
AD at 192 kHz sampling rate with usb connections that is Alsa compatible.
Is anyone please aware of a converter that may be able to meet the specs I
need? Thank you all for the help.

Hello!
I could only found an ALSA driver for the PCI version HDSP MADI. Is there also a
driver available to use with the PCI Express Bus version HDSPe MADI?
Thanks,

I compiled the recent version of alsa (1.0.17) and I tried all the

So I don't know what else I could do...
Does anyone have hint for me or even better a solution?
Thanks in advance

Hi! Recently, I have bought Terratec 5.1 USB card and I want to use it
in my laptop (which has an internal ALI card). I try to use ".asound"
file from this URL:

With this modifications:

Does anyone now of an USB soundcard that supports 8000 Hz natively?

? Who will make them
available, alsa or the kernel group?
You should examine the kernel changelogs. The 2.6 kernels are updated
continously from the ALSA CVS by Jaroslav.
