I, like you, have Audigy2 Platinum EX and the alsa drivers do not work with it at all (refuse to load). I have to use the driver from emu10k1 project, which seems to work (at least to some extent). I'm impatiently waiting for Alsa's support for my sound card. ;^)
Me too. I'm interested in trying to fix it myself, but I need some documentation. Does anyone here know if there is any documentation available for the Audigy2?
Or is someone already working with Audigy2 support? I'd be very happy to help.
