I have a SB Audigy Platinum EX - and I've got everything running quite nicely on MDK 9.1 (Just had to tweak the ALSA mixer)... Did I say "everythikng"? Oh... I meant everything BUT the MIDI on the front panel. I have yet to get that running, or have yet to hear of anyone who has.
Other than that, the Optical, RCA, Infrared, headphones, and all other inputs are working quite nicely. :)
This is *very* interesting! What kernel are you running? What does lspci say? I'm wondering why it does not work for me, and I would *love* to get it to work here as well.
