Well out of a sheer lack of anything else to try I've rebuilt my kernel and rebuilt all of the alsa 1.0.4 packages (drivers,lib,utils,oss, firmware). Still no sound no matter what I try. Here's the output from lsmod Module Size Used byNot tainted snd-pcm-oss362

Hello Recently I made alsa work with dmix on my nf2 mobo, so I change my Xmms prefs to use Alsa instead of Arts (which was the goal). But today, I realise that, when I listen to an ogg file, I hear a little tactactac in the rear. This little noise is only present if I use Alsa output, not OSS or
